Dr Michael Tirant (PhD) is a medical research scientist and practitioner of complementary dermatology. Dr Tirant first entered the medical industry over 30 years ago, where his interest in skin conditions began after a close personal friend’s ongoing battle with psoriasis made him realise how little was actually known about the condition.

He is now recognised worldwide as an expert in his industry due to his unique ability to treat not only the symptoms of many skin conditions, but also the triggers that cause the condition to flare up in the future. Dr Tirant has developed his own Treatment Protocols and proprietary medication designed to combat a wide variety of skin conditions.

Dr Tirant had treated skin conditions for many years practicing under his own name befiore opening the first registered Psoriasis & Skin Clinic in 1998 in Frankston, Melbourne. Since then the business has expanded rapidly and we now have clinics across Australia and in New Zealand.

Dr Tirant and his colleagues recognise the importance of a compassionate service, and strive to understand each individual patient’s condition and how it has affected them personally in their day-to-day lives. This commitment from staff to respect all patients is an aspect that Dr Tirant feels very strongly about and Practitioners and staff are carefully selected with this in mind.
